  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place a portion of the beef mixture and cheese on each tortilla.
  5. Fold the tortilla over the filling and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chimichangas until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
