- 4 pieces chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- In a large pot, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Stir until well mixed.
- Add chicken thighs to the pot and sear on both sides.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 25 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove chicken, shred it and return to the pot.
