  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 40 minutes.
  3. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  4. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  5. In a bowl, squeeze out the roasted garlic and mix with cream, lemon zest, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the garlic cream sauce and bacon. Toss well.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.
