An easy and delightful twist on traditional tiramisu, infused with the warm flavors of gingerbread.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 cup coffee, brewed and cooled
  • 24 gingerbread cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves until smooth.
  2. In a shallow dish, pour the cooled coffee.
  3. Quickly dip each gingerbread cookie into the coffee, ensuring they are moist but not soggy.
  4. Layer the dipped cookies in a rectangular dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the cookies.
  6. Repeat with another layer of dipped cookies and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of regular coffee.
