Delicious and healthy oven-baked cabbage burgers that are easy to make and perfect for a guilt-free meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the cabbage leaves by blanching them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, diced onions, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, grated carrot, breadcrumbs, and egg.
  4. Form the mixture into patties.
  5. Place each patty on a cabbage leaf and wrap it tightly.
  6. Place the wrapped burgers in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
