  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg into the yeast mixture.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  7. Roll out the dough and spread with additional melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Roll tightly and cut into rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  9. Let rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
