A simple and delicious recipe for slice and bake cookies that you can easily prepare at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the dough into two logs and wrap in plastic wrap.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Slice the chilled dough into 1/4 inch rounds and place on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
