2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon red food coloring
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.
Add the butter, egg, vanilla, food coloring, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients.
Knead the dough until smooth, then roll it out.
Spread a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon on top, then roll into a log.
Cut into slices and place in a greased baking dish.
