  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.
  3. Add the butter, egg, vanilla, food coloring, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth, then roll it out.
  5. Spread a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon on top, then roll into a log.
  6. Cut into slices and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Let cool before serving.
