A delicious and creamy twist on traditional Bolognese sauce, made with turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Stir in onions and garlic, cooking until translucent.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and mix in heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, stirring until combined and heated through.
  7. Serve over pasta or as desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Garnish with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
